Everybody, welcome to another episode of King's arena. This is Matt and Alex, and we are welcomed by Edward and Manny from Kne Repair Solutions out of Florida. Hey, guys, how are you doing?

    We're doing good.

    Very good.

    Thank you for asking.

Thank you for course, of course. All right, so just to kind of kick things off and introduce you to everybody, can you tell us a little bit of history and background of knee repair solutions, how you guys got the company started, what your mission is, that sort of thing?

Yes, more than welcome. Knee repair solution basically started in New York, Long Island, New York, and then we're moving down to Florida, Tampa Bay Area 2008. And then basically we're starting doing new construction, remodeling repair Tampa Bay area and surrounding area. Basically we are a family business focus in basically repair, remodeling, new kitchen, news, bathroom roofing. We are estate floated, licensed roofing contractor and building contractor. Basically we cover all the trade and construction area and one contractor.

Wow. Okay, so you guys offer a lot of different remodeling services. Is there anything unique or any standout services that you guys specialize in?

Well, basically we specialize in new constructions, build custom houses basically in New York. Basically here in Florida. We basically more leaning to addition remodeling because Florida have the contraction way to lending is basically build the whole community. And basically we're not leaning to build whole community. We prefer leaning to build custom house like we build here in Florida also. But we see the more request for clients. It's basically new kitchen, new bathrooms, completely outdated. The house remodeling from bottom to up. And it's basically what we do, like a new roofing, new flooring, construction, drywall, everything in general to outdated and fix new open concepts and new houses. And the old type of house that was built here in Florida that was tiny with a lot of wall and fee, just put all together in one and build like a new concept and new construction. 2023 24 now.

    Okay. Wow.

Yeah, I mean, I can see a lot of people going into the whole new kitchen, new bath section, but additions, that's a very interesting service to offer and to deal with. But if I'm like a client or a prospect, right. How do you guys typically approach this remodeling process? Like, if I were someone, could you kind of walk me through what those typical steps involved in a project from start to finish would look like?

Well, definitely, yeah. Basically we setting up the appointment with the clients and then visited them on the side job and we hear about from them. What are they expecting in this remodeling. And also after we get all the information they need, we give you the auction them and suggestion, you know what I mean? How we can remodeling the process consistent, we can bring the paint the job, you know what I mean? Or kitchen designer and engineer to do any structural opening elevation, you know what I mean, on the house. And it's basically we present to them like 3d video plans, you know what I mean, how the house kind of be looked before and after. And we started the process to adjust something they needed onto the house. But basically we present by plans and what we got to do and how the house kind of be looked after the request for the title remodeling.

Okay, so I have a question personally. So when you guys are trying to remodel a kitchen or a bath or maybe do new roofs or something or an addition, what are some kind of issues or mistakes that some of your clients or just people in general might run into in the remodeling process? Is there like budget issues or what are some kind of tips or something? If I'm looking to remodel my house, what are some things that people commonly issue wise run into with that?

Well, on those particular, depending the type of house or the remodeling project, we got it heating to doing. Because basically when sometimes we're facing sometime the remodeling is damaged by water leak from the roof or any structure or damage or by any problem. Basically it's like we told the clients, listen, we open those wall or the roof or any structure, we definitely know how far the damage is now. Definitely in the stereo on the remodeling does nothing can be changed. How the wall is going to be look wall with texture painting, crown molding, baseboard trim, but internal to the wall. If it's existing damage by water game, this is something they can face and say, okay, you had to be prepared for any additional budget with b after we open it and find the damage inside there.

    Okay, awesome.

So I guess, do you guys have any specific maybe projects or examples that you're proud of? Maybe there's some landmark job you did where you could be like, yeah, hey, we did that or something.

And the landmark job would mean that for your question. Sorry. No, it's okay.

So I'm asking, do you guys have an example of a job that you're extremely proud of? Maybe a house or a business you remodeled that you could kind of brag about? Hey, we know. I don't know that know building or. Right. Like is there something a specific project that you know would boast.

I mean the, the last couple mean since mom mean we know a couple of know here in Brandon area in Florida and Tampa Bay area that we completely restored and rebuild the house. For example, Darryl is meaning a tree fell on top of the house during the time they hurt him. And I would say 80% of the house was completely collapsed, damaged, very damaged that we had to rebuild the structure, wall rafter, the roof, new roof, wall, bathrooms, kitchen. In general the house basically there was miserable with the damage and everything went back again. Beautiful, gorgeous. Better what it was because definitely we outdated everything and the new product and the new designers for bathrooms and kitchen we guess on about a couple of months also too another client is patting allens. Basically the house was built 1947 in Brandon area. And you can imagine the house never was touching by any repair, nothing. The mother was living there. She moved in from New Jersey. She decided living with the mother. She called me and told me, ep, what do you say about this house? I said or listen, that's what we got to do it. That's what we got to make. And again we involved the kitchen designer, the engineer, we open concepts walls and everything and remodeling and rebuild the house interior completely. Brand new, new plumbing, new electrical, new flooring, everything in general. And she buried smile. Happy, gorgeous, completely satisfied. And basically we're glad to this because we see those review and Google now how they feeling and how know experience they have with the company.

    Gotcha.

    Okay.

I actually was renting a house, I think it was two years ago that had two trees fall on it. Too bad I don't live in Florida. I could have called you guys. Yeah, nice.

So on the jobs and I know that this is probably going to be a tough question to answer but on average about how long does say a remodel or even a house renovation truly take because I know some people complain about product or materials delays. Are you seeing anything like that?

Yeah. Well basically we inform our client depending how that they want to proceed it. For example if it cannot be custom door, custom window, what the type of product material they want to use and the finish on the house. For example, a total renovation on a house interior is about basically with the permitting, engineers plans, inspections and process to get it around six months that you have total renovation interior house. Basically a full renovation for roofing, trouser for roof that we had to replace and do some work and the stereo is approximately in a year the complete full renovation with the new roof, new trousers and the paint for the damage but interior renovation with a three bedroom renovation, flooring, new kitchens and completing interior crown molding, base paint, everything. That's about six months with the product on side job.

    Interesting.

That kind of brings me to a question that I had. This made me think about it. Are there any, I don't know, like recent trends or innovations in the remodeling industry that knee repair solutions has been incorporating into your guys projects? Or I guess, how do you stay up to date with industry developments?

So, yeah, I'll be able to answer that one. So one of the things that we like to keep our customers also satisfactory is a lot of them tend to have hidden doors, like, let's say bookshelf doors or latch doors. Sometimes people like to have little privacy in certain areas. Or let's say they wouldn't like to have everybody to know other than that, let's say like special designs on backsplash or let's say doors, windows, like those church stained glasses. Sometimes they'll like to have that on countertops for doors, for windows. So we be able to offer those kind of services. But we also let them know that sometimes that these products are also handcrafted. They're special orders. So these orders do take an extra bit of time, but it is always possible.

Right? I think that's understandable. If I'm asking for something that's super custom and kind of out of the norm, I mean, you're most likely going to have to wait. There's not some machine that's just going to be able to fire this stuff out. Now, I've got a question, too, because with people getting more custom and more picky on what they want, what advice do you have for homeowners when they're considering doing a remodeling project, like going with someone like you guys versus trying to just diy it and grab stuff at Home Depot or whatnot?

Yeah, definitely. We advise to the clients, the first one is, you know what I mean? Go around and shopping, you know what I mean? In different area. Like you mentioned before, Home Depot, Lowe's floor decor, select, you know what I mean, material, color, style, tie the material because those mean when they select those and give you those item number, we check with the vendor with the ability on those material and the time that we can get those material because sometimes those on the special material take a little bit more of the time the manufacturer have or the vendor in hand to provide to the contractor. Now standard. Basically, after they select tile color, painting everything, roofing material, style and everything, then definitely that's where we get the approximate time for completion on the job and those materials. Sometimes we start in the process like we explained to a client.

    Okay.

We started the process now. And those material that you request, it can be probably in the next month or two, but the project is going to be for six months that we got to be in good time to expect and get those window or the doors or any of those type the specific material that they request for.

    Okay.

And I mean, long story short, it's always better to go with someone that's got qualifications, experience and just trying to do it yourself, especially keeping things up to code. So can you provide us a little information on your team's qualifications and experience?

Yes, on those. Basically the company have employee basically working and design basically and select products material and custom made it, you know what I mean, carpentry cabinets, especially woodwork in towel work and electrical, plumbing. And in general we have a select of people basically assigning in different topic areas in the construction side.

    Very cool.

    Okay.

So for people in the Valrico area, I hope I'm pronouncing that and surrounding areas. Where can our listeners and potential new clients find more information about your company or your portfolio of work and get in touch with you? Where can they find that stuff?

Well, basically they can find us through the website. We had an excellent company working with the website and the company and they do excellent work and they have all the information in the web. They can click in there, they can select requests for services appointment. They can see it before and after picture the war, the history of the company. Also in Instagram and Facebook looking for the BB better business bureau on the west. They can check us there and also friends through a lot of vendors here like know ABC. Basically they mentioned the name of the company and definitely they give you the referral and let them know who we are.

Awesome. So a lot of different outlets to get in touch with you guys and get help on their next project. Love it.

    Correct? I guess.

Lastly, what's next for k and e repair solutions? Are there any exciting projects, expansions, plans or something on the horizon you'd like to share with our audience?

Yes, definitely. This year 2024 we had a platform, you know what I mean? And basically we're hitting for the large commercial project and basically it's going to be a TPO flat roof and talking about approximately 260 square foot roof. We have two house for complete interior remodeling and leaning now to the roofing system that we already started to do few roof replacement in a new construction house. And then we're looking now to the engineer working with the client, with the plan. And it's basically after we got the drawing, we got to present to the clients to start to build a custom house. It's in Tampa area by Bay Shore Boulevard and those areas around it there. And that's going to be a beautiful future home for our new clients.

    Awesome. Very.

And many want to say something also too over.

Yeah, also one thing that I also would like to say and also let the listeners know about us is that we also brought in a new department for brick pavements. We can do backyard patios, backyard grills, outdoor kitchens, all that fun stuff. And also a new function that we also provide to our customers and our clients, especially if money is not there because we know it's not easy times, but we all know that we're all working hard.
